Living World Season 5: “The Icebrood Saga” begins Sept 17th

So begins the chilling speech of Jormag in the trailer for the new Living World season, as the Elder Dragon yet again has awoke from its slumber, most probably disturbed by the death of Kralkatorrik.

Why I return to Tyria and GW2

TheValliant’s interesting article on parting ways with Guild Wars 2 for now made me consider my own choices in the past months and years. I will be the first to admit I have taken several breaks from Guild Wars 2, but to be honest I actually feel the developer themselves legitimised it in past years more or less stating the casual nature meant you were free to play as you wanted, when you wanted.

Screenshot Competition – Flashpoint!

The third season of Guild Wars 2’s Living World has taken us all over the realm of Tyria. We travelled to the blasted, chaotic landscape of Bloodstone Fen in the Maguuma Jungle, and learnt of Minister Caudecus’ plans, but he escaped before we could catch him. After that, news spread that Primordus was active and on the move, forcing us down south to investigate Ember Bay in the burning Ring of Fire Islands.

The bells of Wintersday are chiming, and orphans all over Divinity’s Reach are looking forward to receiving gifts from Toymaster Tixx and generous heroes… even if these gifts contain ugly wool clothing! As for us heroes, we have a wealth of activities to enjoy, from trying out our musical talents in the Bell Choir, to “friendly” games of Snowball Mayhem, to the icy Winter Wonderland jumping puzzle, to gleeful smashing in Toypocalypse.
