This has to be brought up again.
Trym, what time is the most suitable one for you on Sundays?December 3, 2015 at 3:27 pm #6417
Assuming anyone other than Trym can answer this…. For me 5-6pm GMT is dinner time on Sundays, plus the weekends are often quite busy, many times I wont even be at home on a Sunday.
Have we ever looked at another day? Mid week etc? I don’t know if that makes it better/worse but week day evenings are generally a lot more likely to be do-able for me (plus we often seem to have a lot of people in the guild chat in game).
I don’t mind either way though, its always going to work best as majority rules and if I can make it along then I will.December 3, 2015 at 5:26 pm #6422
Yes, everyone can answer this. There are some people that still can’t make it due to our current schedule.December 3, 2015 at 8:25 pm #6436
On sundays 4pm gmt. I know it’s very early for some and I understand that it probably won’t work. Friday evenings I guess would work best for me.December 3, 2015 at 8:38 pm #6438
Great thing about these guild missions: they don’t cost anything to activate, and you can repeat them as often as you want. We can hold missions several times during the week if we wanted.
So maybe have a Sunday afternoon / evening one as the main event, AND a mid-week time slot for those who can’t make it on Sunday? The challenges and puzzles will require a more coordinated effort, but bounties and treks and perhaps even rushes can be done with just a few people, especially the easy ones. That way people can at least get a couple of rewards per week, even if they can’t make all the missions.
As for me, I’m pretty flexible on times.December 4, 2015 at 8:41 am #6441
What Ed said: we decided to keep Sunday as our ‘official’ day, time under discussion. However, at any day and time during the week we can hold missions -either the whole set or just one or two of the lot- for those who need them still. Maybe we should hold a vote? Or act on the spur?December 4, 2015 at 1:17 pm #6443
Weekends are turning out pretty bad for me; I am far more flexible on weekdays. So, I have no problems at all with the official guild mission day being Sunday, after all it’s been voted by the majority. But I will more or less never make it, and I would like a way to still gain guild commendations, I definitely need them for guild content/gear/skins.
So, as Tim says, weekday evenings would be perfect. Tuesday or Thursday after 7pm UK (8pm CET) for a guild mission repeat for those who couldn’t attend on Sundays?
And thanks for bringing up the topic, Chris, I was meaning to ask about this myself, but my schedule is pretty hectic these days and I’ve not got around to it.December 4, 2015 at 1:41 pm #6444
Thanks Ed, hadnt realised it didnt cost/couldnt be repeated.
If thats the case then brilliant, keep Sundays official and organise/ad-hoc do a day in the week (Tuesdays sounds pretty good to me personally too)
One of the brilliant things with DS is people just going “hey, yer sure ill join in” so if anyone wants a guild mission for the commendations they can just shout in guild chat and if people are up for it then we can do it.
Obv. the only down side are things that need x people to do become more difficult (guild rush is it?)December 4, 2015 at 2:01 pm #6445
What time would it work the best for you Tim/Sirpa/Trym on a weekday?December 10, 2015 at 3:26 pm #6466
sadly every weekend i am working at my family business full time, from Friday till Sunday late night, so i can’t join in this guild activity.December 26, 2015 at 6:31 pm #6530
So, if we set up another day during the week for missions, would anybody of you guys be able to kick them off?
The thing is that I don’t know if I can personally make it there every single time, especially seeing as my university exams are around the corner once again.
